OsteoFab®
Oncology Reconstruction

Metal-free, patient-specific implants for tumour resection and limb salvage

Why OsteoFab® for Oncology Reconstruction?

Oncologic reconstruction demands precision, adaptability, and the ability to address massive bone defects often compounded by soft tissue compromise, previous treatment, or infection. OsteoFab® provides custom solutions using high-performance PEKK — a lightweight, radiolucent material ideal for complex post-tumour cases.

Advanced Cutting, Collaborative Design

Each implant begins with CT-based planning and multidisciplinary input. The surgeon is closely involved in the design phase to ensure precise margins, desired alignment, and anatomical fit. Optional cutting guides and custom jigs can be produced to ensure surgical accuracy.

Infection-Sensitive and Soft Tissue Compromised Cases

Many oncology cases involve prior radiotherapy, soft tissue deficits, or a high risk of infection. PEKK’s bacteriostatic properties, combined with its strength and biocompatibility, make OsteoFab® uniquely suited to these challenging environments — particularly where metal implants would otherwise be contraindicated.

Cutting guides assist with osteotomies and complex reconstruction — especially in cases involving angular correction, trauma, or tumour resection.

  • Built from CT data and aligned to each patient’s anatomy

  • Improve intraoperative accuracy and reduce surgical time

  • Available for both bone resection and implant placement
